We are proud to announce Legacy In Motion: A Five-Year Retrospective, a special exhibition honouring the powerful work and impact of Black Lives Matter – Sudbury over the past five years. Hosted at Amberhill Gallery (601 Kathleen St.) from June 12 to July 12, 2025, the retrospective traces the movement’s local impact from grassroots resistance to the creation of vibrant Black cultural spaces and highlights the work of creatives and organizers who continue to shape the social and political landscape of the North.

The exhibition opens with a special reception on Thursday, June 12 from 6 to 10 PM, featuring welcoming remarks from renowned author, activist, and abolitionist Robyn Maynard, whose presence will help ground the evening in reflection, resistance, and shared vision.

Nous sommes heureux de vous présenter L’héritage en mouvement: un rétrospective de cinq ans, une exposition spéciale honorant les efforts exigeants et l’impact de Black Lives Matter – Sudbury auprès les derniers cinq ans. Suitée à Amberhill Gallery (601 Rue Kathleen) du 12 juin au 12 juillet, 2025, le rétrospective démonstrera l’impact locale de ce mouvement, suivant ses pas de résistance communautaire jusqu’à la création d’espaces vibrants culturelles Noires, en soulignant les oeuvres des créatives ainsi que les organizateurs qui continuissent à former le terrain social et politique du Nord.
