On September 22, 2020, Black Lives Matter Sudbury completed a ground mural on Elgin Street in collaboration with Up Here, Fierté Sudbury Pride, Place des Arts, the Regroupement des organismes culturels de Sudbury, and the Laughing Buddha/Townhouse Tavern. The mural incorporated the colours of the Indigenous Medicine Wheel, the Pride Flag, the Trans Flag, the Pan-African Flag, and the official BLM colours, symbolizing solidarity across communities. The project garnered regional and national media attention.
