The Black Legal Action Centre is a non-profit community legal clinic that provides free legal services to low- or no-income Black residents of Ontario. BLAC also engages in test case litigation to address systemic issues affecting Black communities across Canada.

Canadian Human Rights Commission
The Canadian Human Rights Act (1977) protects individuals from discrimination when employed by or receiving services from federal government bodies, First Nations governments, or federally regulated private companies (e.g., banks, broadcasters, telecoms). The Act allows individuals to file complaints based on grounds such as race, age, or sexual orientation.

On February 15, 2021, Black Lives Matter Sudbury launched an interactive online space to celebrate and educate about Black History Month. This bilingual platform is available in English and French, offering engaging resources to honor Black history.
